Indian Army’s 3-Layered LoC Security Plan for Independence Day
Army deploys advanced tech and layered security along LoC ahead of August 15 celebrations.

The Indian Army has implemented a comprehensive three-layered security system along the Line of Control (LoC) to ensure smooth Independence Day celebrations on August 15. This marks the first Independence Day since the successful Operation Sindoor, and security forces are leaving no room for any disruptions.

The upgraded defence measures include smart fence systems, robotic mules, quadcopters, night vision sights, and all-terrain vehicles. Drones, dog squads, and advanced detection equipment have also been deployed to enhance surveillance and prevent any infiltration attempts.

In addition to technology-driven tools, the Army is intensifying human intelligence efforts with increased patrols and quick reaction teams stationed at strategic points. The three-tier security setup combines forward-area monitoring, mid-range surveillance, and deep-area reinforcement to create a fortified defence shield along the LoC.

Officials have confirmed that these measures aim to safeguard not only military posts but also civilian areas close to the LoC, ensuring a secure environment for national celebrations.
